Ultra EDM Fever Strikes Singapore Again

Look out for these Ultra cool DJs!

Ultra 2017 is finally coming back for the third time to our sunny Singapore shores this June! This is a massive EDM music festival that debuted in Singapore in 2015 and has since spread to over twenty countries. With tickets selling like hot cakes and everyone getting all hyped up about this 2-day event, let’s take at look at some of the globe’s greatest electronic artists who will be performing right here in Singapore.

DJ Tiësto is a Dutch DJ and record producer whose legendary six hour sets has earned him the title of  “the Greatest DJ of All Time” by  Mixmag magazine. He is so famous that in fact, he has his own wax figure in Madame Tussauds located right at Amsterdam. As if that isn’t enough, he has also been knighted by the Queen of Holland. Perhaps we should call him “Sir Tiësto” instead! 😉

A major force in the EDM scene, Steve Aoki is an American electro house musician, record producer and DJ. He was named by Pollstar in 2012 as the highest grossing dance artist in North America from tours. Interestingly enough, he learned his brand marketing skills from his father who founded Benihana, a restaurant company in America.

Hardwell, another Dutch musician on the list, first gained recognition from his bootleg of “Show me love vs Be”  He is well known for his big room house and electro house music and was voted the World’s No. 1 DJ on DJ Mag in both 2013 and 2014. Besides being a musician and a producer, Hardwell is also skilled at Judo and Martial Arts from his teenage years. Who says musicians can’t be basasses?

While I will leave it up to you to decide who is the best in the scene, let’s see how their Instagram accounts stack up against each other.

(Source: Popular Chips)

The interesting fact is that, although Anna has much fewer followers of 34,000+ compared to the other four mega DJs (who are at millions), she is the one with the highest interaction/engagement rate. This means that her followers actually interacts with her a lot more! She is also the one with the lowest number of inactive/fake accounts at 14.25%. Yay for girl power!

So.. are you all excited for Ultra 2017 yet? I will be there. How about you? 😉
