The more the better – How 13K posted pictures help you reach 5M followers

One of the magic rules of Instagram is: the more you post, the easier is to amass followers.

None one does it better than the fashion bloggers. They are the princesses of this plan of attack and know how to make the best and most effective use of the social media resources at their disposal.

Fashion bloggers usually post between 5 to 12 pics per day -everyday- on Instagram. They have become famous for taking pictures all the way through the day and they daily live up to this expectation.

Mornings are perfect to display the #OOTD ( outfit of the day) and every activity, from the first post on, is a golden opportunity to showcase themselves to the public. Every chair, window, door, wall, flight of steps, street, signboard, spoon, plate, cup, café, restaurants, cinema, shop, shoes, tees, trinkets, trousers, dress, dad, mom, brother, sisters, boyfriend, girlfriend, cats, pugs, everything is part of the fashion bloggers’ realm. They are the ones who can make a curb stylish.

The queen of posting is Chiara Ferragni. She has posted 13K pictures of herself so far amassing 5M followers. On the average, who opened an Instagram account 4/5 years ago has posted between 300 to 4K pictures. For example, Taylor Swift has instagrammed 800 pics while Kylie Jenner 3.6K instas.

Fashion bloggers are often criticized for their ostentatious display of themselves, possessions and achievements without limits. However, these fashion princesses have created a new way to make a living and, I dare say, a career aspiration that has never existed before.

Someone might not agree with me but these girls work everyday to reach their goals and bring home an income. They are those independent women praised in the Destiny’s Child’s homonymous song: “…I buy my own diamonds and I buy my own rings…Try to control me boy, you get dismissed…Pay my own fun, oh and I pay my own bill. Always 50/50 in relationships.”

The women of the 50s are becoming an extinct species; make way for the Fashion Bloggers.
