Describe your Instagram profile, what you post and why.

WorldFootballClub is made for those who love the beautiful game. I try to get an overview of football in the most popular leagues, and post my photos and videos from my observations. Furthermore, I reckon it’s better to post when you’ve got good material, and not because you feel desperate to post since you haven’t posted in a while. So, in conclusion, my football page gives you the best photos/videos about the beautiful game!

When did you start your Instagram experience?

Well, it all started two years ago when my favorite football club lost a game unfairly. I don’t know if some of you might have experienced this, but back then, I felt desperate to express my opinions about football. I wanted the world to know if a team was playing dirty. I wanted the world to know if one certain player was underrated. Reading about other peoples opinions wasn’t enough for me.

How long did it take you to make your first 10,000 followers? Was it a difficult process?

I´m not quite sure exactly, but it did take a really long time, so it was definitely a difficult process. Because as you grow bigger, it will get easier for you to get followers. So the most problematic moment for every account is usually in the beginning.

4. Which post published by you do you like the most or are you most proud of?

David Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham. Time flies

This is definitely my favorite photo, especially since David Beckham used to be my favorite football player. Like father, like son!

How often do you publish sponsored posts commissioned by brands?

I do think it’s okay to post a sponsored post every once in a while. However, you must think wisely, because you might create a vicious circle. Followers don’t normally appreciate sponsored posts, so if it ever gets out of hand, and you post lots of ads, you might lose your beloved followers. I think people, including me, must ask ourselves, if we really need that extra dollar that might lead to a decreased amount of followers.

Have you ever accepted to publish a sponsored post for a brand without being paid?

I have been in contact to several different companies, some of them aren’t even associated to football. Uber is one of them, and it´s actually the only company that got a sponsored post without paying. I must say that it was a pleasant experience to work with such a respected company, since I knew it was for a good cause. I urged people to download the app and order a car, instead of drinking and driving, and it got a really good response!

Have you ever bought followers or likes?

No, as I told you earlier, I´m only active on Instagram to affect other people’s opinions, not to impress them. So I’d actually rather have 100 real likes, than thousands of fake ones.

What would you suggest to someone who want to be an Instagram Influencer? What would you recommend them to do in order to gain success as you did?

Have patience, don’t think it all will happen over one night, because it probably won’t. Also, it’s important for you to be interested in the things that you post. My success would be less interesting if I wasn’t interested in my posts. Furthermore, your followers will most likely notice that as well. So, to sum up, for the best possible success, you must have patience and have lots of fun!
